These are some of my favourite drama activities based on real-life odd inventions. The suggested activities are Odd Advertisements, Minute Topics (based on odd inventions) and Inventor Interviews. Students will love that these inventions actually exist (set of 59 cards with inventions) and the drama activities can be used in a standalone class or as part of a wider unit. Drama Machines are a classic drama activity. As a twist to the classic drama machines, these Drama Character Machines are run in a drama circle format. The resource includes: - Drama Circle Cards (students are given a card to perform in sequence to tell a story) - Detailed Instructions (including how to enhance the activity and further activities + ideas to adapt the character machine) - Instructions to bring in whole class chorus parts This is an energetic activity and a perfect compliment (but also a standalone activity) to my Drama Machines resource (which is in the classic format).
